What to Prepare

A 2-minute cut of any George Michael or Wham! song, or a contemporary pop song that showcases both vocal ability and acting nuance/storytelling
Choose material you connect with and have fun — we want to get a sense of your personality
A cappella is acceptable, but performing with a backing track is preferred
An accompanist will not be provided at initial auditions — bring your track or instrument as needed
Bring a headshot and resume if you have them

15-minute individual audition slot
Please arrive 10 minutes early to check in
Potential cast members should be prepared to come back on the third day (Sunday) for callbacks
Callbacks will be announced Saturday evening — calls will be made first, then the list will be posted online

Callbacks

If called back, you may be asked to read sides and/or sing specific song sections
An accompanist will be provided on callback day

Character Breakdown

10 cast members needed. All roles 18+, open to diverse performers — strong singers/movers priority. Performers inhabit original characters in a 90-minute interactive dramedy scored by the music of George Michael & Wham!

Jordan (30s, pragmatic caretaker/bar staff)

Grounded everyman in a fraying open relationship; vulnerable tenor/baritone mix. Central arc: denial to reckoning.

Micah (late 20s, performer/narcissist)

Spotlight-hungry guest singer; powerhouse tenor, flashy moves. Arc: thrill to consequences.

Sasha (40s, “father figure”)

Sultry disruptor; rich baritone/tenor ballads. Arc: temptation.

Ray (30s–40s, emcee)

Witty host; versatile vocals, high energy. Arc: truth-revealer.

Toni (30s, bartender)

Sassy confidante; alto/mezzo belt, comic timing. Arc: tough love.

Martin (30s)

Earnest monogamist; lyric tenor duets. Arc: stability envy.

Lena (30s)

Devoted partner; soprano/alto harmonies. Arc: quiet strength.

Rowan (20s–30s)

Asexual observer; dry wit, spoken word. Arc: outsider wisdom.

Ensemble (2+ roles)

Harmonies, chaos, Wham! energy; rotating featured moments throughout the show.
